刍议Theil指数下区域经济差异测度与分解——以长三角为例

A Brief Analysis of Regional Economic Difference Measure and Decomposition Based on Theil Index——Taking the Yangtze River Delta as an Example

基于Theil指数及其分解的分析方法对长三角区域经济发展的地区差异及其空间演变特征进行分析。研究发现长三角地区总体Theil指数呈下降趋势,表明总体地区差异缩小,区域经济发展的空间不均衡现象有所缓解,区域经济协调发展的势头良好;而从地区差异贡献率的演变趋势来看,长三角区域经济发展地区差异由省内差异与省际差异构成,其中省内差异是造成地区差异的主要原因,因此,有必要采取合理措施促进长三角区域经济协调发展。

Based on the analysis method of Theil index and decomposition,this paper analyzes the regional differences and spatial evolution characteristics of economic development in the Yangtze river delta region.It is found that the overall Theil index in the Yangtze river delta region shows a downward trend indicating the reduced overall regional difference.It also shows that the overall regional difference has been narrowed down and the spatial imbalance of regional economic development has been eased,which denotes that the coordinated development of the regional economy is in good momentum.From the perspective of the evolution trend of contribution rate regarding regional differences,the regional differences in economic development of the Yangtze river delta region consist of both intra-provincial differences and inter-provincial differences with the former ones as the main cause of regional differences.Therefore,it is necessary to take reasonable measures to promote the coordinated economic development of the Yangtze river delta region.
