Huangmei Opera is an important project of intangible cultural heritage in our country;therefore,the protection and inheritance of Huangmei Opera is a significant task whether from the perspective of protecting the intangible cultural heritage or from enriching people’s spiritual and cultural life.This paper analyzes the development process of Huangmei Opera,discusses the problem of inheritance protection,and proposes the way of promoting the inheritance and development through optimization and innovation,hoping to provide assistance for the inheritance and development of Huangmei opera culture.
