贾平凹作品“可译性”研究

On the Translatability of Jia Pingwa's Works

中国当代作家贾平凹的作品近年被翻译为世界多国文字,在海外读者中产生了一定的影响。从"可译性"的角度对这一现象进行分析,认为其基于中国传统文学和哲学之上的独特的叙事模式和文化精神;现代意识统摄下的对人性的深入探究所形成的作品的普适性意义和价值,使他的创作能够跨越语言文化的障碍,在世界文坛展示独有的魅力。

The works of Jia Pingwa,a contemporary Chinese writer,have been translated into many languages in recent years and attracted the attention of some overseas readers.Focusing on the “translatability” of his works,the paper proposes that the following two factors lay the foundation for his success in the international literary circle: 1) the unique narrative mode employed and the particular cultural ideals expressed in his writings on the basis of Chinese literary and philosophical traditions;and 2) the universal values achieved by in-depth exploration of human nature in his works from the perspective of modern consciousness.
