摘要
本文以20世纪70年代末至90年代中期贾平凹小说的英译活动为研究范例,揭示了彼时译出型国家翻译实践模式在翻译选材和翻译策略等方面的特征及其背后的制约因素,分析了这一模式所生产的译作在异域世界接受效度不佳的原因所在,在此基础上,对译出型国家翻译实践下的翻译生产进行反观,为当下以此模式推进的中国文学翻译生产提供镜鉴和参考。
Based on a case study of the English translation activities of Jia Pingwa’s novels occurred from Late 1970s to mid-1990s,this paper revealed the characteristics of national translation practice by the State in the aspects of translation material selection and translation strategies as well as the manipulative factors behind them and analyzed the reasons why its translation works had such poor reception effect in the alien world.The author also made a counter-view on the translation production activities of this model in order to provide a mirror and reference for the translation activity of Chinese literature promoted by this mode at present.
