Thought on the Development of Think Tank at Jixia Academy——The Research of Greatwall Enterprise Institute in the Last 25 Years

[目的/意义]探讨中国智库的地位和作用,要联系中国改革开放40年的历史进程,而改革开放的起点和问题构成中国智库的特征和使命,即推动中国社会发展、促进决策科学化和民主化。这是中国智库真正的历史、实践和逻辑起点,也是今天研究和推进智库建设的基本依据。[方法/过程]本文以历史与逻辑相一致的方法,以长城企业战略研究所为案例,梳理中国改革开放进程中决策科学化民主化的战略与智库发展之间的内在联系;同时揭示当代智库发展与传统文化资源之间联系的必要性。[结果 /结论 ]中国智库的当代发展,要与中国改革开放的新要求相一致,也要进一步开掘历史和文化资源,要有文化自觉和价值选择。

[Purpose/significance] The status and role of think tanks in China should be considered the historical background of China’s reform and opening-up over the past 40 years. The starting point and problems of reform and opening-up constitute the characteristics and mission of think tanks in China, which promote social development, scientific and democratic decision-making. It is the real historical, practical and logical starting point of Chinese think tanks and also the basic guideline for today’s research and development of think tanks.[Method/process] Based on the consistency of history and logic, this paper, taking Greatwall Enterprise Institute as an example, combs the internal relationship between the strategy of scientific and democratic decision-making and the development of think tanks in the process of China’s reform and opening-up, and reveals the inevitable relationship between the development of contemporary think tanks and traditional cultural resources.[Result/conclusion]The contemporary development of think tanks in China should be consistent with the new requirements of China’s reform and opening up, and should further dig historical and cultural resources, during which cultural consciousness and value choice are needed.
