With the continuous development of China’s social economy,the sharpness between development and environmental issues is constantly escalating.The quality of surface water is not only related to people’s drinking water safety,but also related to many aspects such as ecological environment and urban landscape construction.Some enterprises blindly pursue economic benefits and discharge sewage into surface water and part of groundwater,causing serious problems of water and soil pollution.Therefore,surface water quality monitoring has become an important part of China’s environmental protection.Automatic monitoring stations can help the environmental protection department.Timely detection of surface water quality changes and problems.This paper starts with the importance of surface water quality monitoring,analyzes some problems encountered in the construction of surface water quality automatic monitoring station,and makes a small contribution to the improvement of surface water quality purification and treatment level in China.
