论少数民族文献的经史双重特性——以白族文献《白古通纪》为例

On Minority Literature as Both Sacred Classics and Historical Records——With Bai Gu Tong Ji (白古通记) as a Case

汉文文献"经""史"两分。"经"以载道,属于神圣叙事;"史"以证道,属于历史叙事。然而在少数民族文献里,神圣叙事与历史叙事常常混融不辨。《白古通记》是一部著名的白族古代文献,对它的考察证实,少数民族文献具有亦经亦史的双重特性,应当置于少数民族各自的历史文化处境予以认识和运用。以经掩史或以史掩经,都将错会这些少数民族文献编撰的真质本义。

“Jing”(经) and “Shi”(史) are two categories in Chinese literature.“Jing” is sacred narrative,while “Shi” is historical narrative.However,in minority literature,sacred narrative (or“Jing”) and historical narrative (or“Shi”) are often mixed up. Bai Gu Tong Ji (白古通记) is a famous work of ancient Bai literature.A careful research reveals that there is a combination of sacred classics and historical records in the minority literature.So,these types of works should be recognized and used in the respective historical and cultural situation of minority ethnic people.Any preference to them as either “Jing” or “Shi” will misinterpret the true meaning of these minority literary works.
