民国时期周口各县公共图书馆的创办与发展

民国时期是周口地区公共图书馆发展的重要阶段。1928―1930年,淮阳、太康、西华、鹿邑、沈丘、扶沟、商水等周口各县分别设立了公共图书馆并各有特色。民国时期,战乱频繁,政治腐败,但是依然有创建民间图书馆、设立儿童图书馆、开展送书下乡活动等创举。这些创举使周口公共图书馆在民国时期甚为活跃,这是图书馆工作人员与先进知识分子的智慧结晶。民国时期周口公共图书馆发展史是周口图书馆史的华章,对现今周口公共图书馆的各项工作仍具有借鉴意义,具有重大研究价值。

The period of the Republic of China was an important stage of the development of Public Libraries in Zhoukou Prefecture.From 1928 to 1930,counties in Zhoukou such as Huaiyang,Taikang,Xihua,Luyi,Shenqiu,Fugou and Shangshui had established public libraries with their own characteristics.During the period of the Republic of China,with frequent wars and political corruption,there were still some innovations,such as the creation of private libraries,the establishment of children's libraries,and the launching of activities of sending books to the countryside.These innovations made Zhoukou Public Library very active during the Republic of China,which was the crystallization of the wisdom of library staff and advanced intellectuals.The development history of Zhoukou Public Library in the period of the Republic of China was a brilliant chapter in the history of Zhoukou Library.It is still of great significance to the work of Zhoukou Public Library and has great research value.
