Overview of the Theoretical Study of Local Chronicles in 2017

2017年,方志学研究保持了近年来稳中有进的局面。首先,方志学论文数量超过400篇;其次,方志学研究方法和视野有所突破,不少论文运用了当代西方史学理论和其他学科的研究方法;再者,一些方志学研究者与时俱进,密切关注国家方针政策和新技术的变化,由此寻求方志学的发展。然综观2017年的研究成果,方志学研究的现状不容乐观,主要表现为:高质量的文章数量较少;方志学研究的内容依然有局限性;高校科研单位与各省市方志办的学术交流较少。由此看来,方志学学科建设之路任重而道远。

In 2017,the Local Chronicles Study maintained the steady progress of the recent years. Firstly,more than 400 papers on Local Chronicles Study were published;secondly,some breakthroughs in the research methods and perspectives of local chronicles were made. Many papers applied the research methods of contemporary Western historiography theory and other disciplines;additionally,some local chronicles researchers advanced with the times and paid close attention to the changes of national policies and new technologies to seek the development of Local Chronicles Study. However,the current situation of Local Chronicles Study is not optimistic if viewing from the research results in 2017. For instance,few papers are of high quality;the content of Local Chronicles Study is still limited;lack of academic exchanges between the scientific R&D institutions of universities and the chronicles offices of provinces and cities. In view of this,there is a long way to go for the discipline construction of Local Chronicles Study.
