新方志增设“杂记”琐议

A Brief Commentary on the Additional Miscellanies in New Chronicles

杂记篇是志书中的门类之一,虽不是志书中的主要部分,属各门类难以包含之类,但从广义而言,它又包含一切记人、记事、记物之文,是网罗志书各门类未能涵盖内容的最佳场所。新方志在体例上继承了旧志的衣钵,杂记篇的应用即为其中之一。"杂记"篇是记述一地域历史文化的篇章,多为大众喜闻乐见、街谈巷议的故事,加强"杂记"篇的记述,在新方志编修中加以合理利用,志书的资料性、可读性、趣味性定会得到明显提升,对于提高志书的质量都大有益处,值得重视和提倡。

As a minor category in chorography,miscellanies can hardly be covered by others which,however,involve all writings on people,events and articles from a broader sense,serving as the best sanctuary for contents excluded in the diversified chronicles.New chronicles have followed the step of its ancestors in style with the utilization of miscellanies as a case in point.Miscellanies record the history and civilization of a certain region,mostly popular tales and town talks.The intensified narration and proper arrangement of the genre in the compilation of new chronicles deserves more attention and promotion due to its great contribution to not only the upgrade of informativity,readability and enjoyment but also the improvement of book quality.
