在翻译实践的基础上探讨了中医针灸术语的直译法、意译法、音译法、借译法、名名译法、缩略法、中医“四字结构”的特殊译法等。最后,提出由专业翻译和针灸医生合作翻译的建议。

The translation of technical term of Chinese Acupuncture is difficult. Based on the translating practice, the paper mainly discusses the literal translation, the free translation, transliteration, borrowing translation, name-name translation, abbreviation, and "four character structure" special translation for the technical term of Chinese Acupuncture. Finally,It’s suggested that English translator and acupuncture doctor cooperate to translate the technical term of Chinese Acupuncture.
