2018年4月8日,中华人民共和国自然资源部正式挂牌,在国家建设体制深化改革的背景下,"建设生态文明和美丽中国"以宪法的名义确立了生态文明的重要性。北京温榆河公园项目结合国家生态文明的最新要求,立足绿色发展空间及生态水环境,以期通过构建区域生态格局、强化区域发展核心、完善区域产业结构等内容,强调以生态修复为核心、以回补城市为根本,以产园联动为手段,建立创新发展型城市公园系统,促进区域内生态、生产、生活的融合沟通,以此加快推进首都生态文明建设步伐。

The design of the park has been making effort to accelerate the pace of ecological civilization construction in the capital city and emphasize on ecological resilience as the core.
