On How to Write Coherent Chronicles from the Perspective of Universal Connection of Things.A Few Humble Opinions on the Coherence of Chronicles

从目前出版的志书现状看,在部分志书中存在割裂门类联系的现象。著述过程中由于缺乏贯通的写作技巧,使得读者看到的志书是门类间各自为政的组合体,没有全面反映出一地的全貌,区域深层次的东西没有体现、记述出来。志书编纂过程中,编者应抓住一地的“社会、生态、地方特点”三条经络,发挥“概述”在志书中的提要钩玄、鸟瞰全志作用,以此达到全面真实地记述一地的自然和社会、历史与现状,展现给读者一个全面、客观的立体历史画卷。

Judging from the chronicles that have been published,some of them severe the connections among different categories.As the authors lack coherent writing skills,the chronicles readers see only collections of independent categories which fail to fully reflect the bigger picture of a place or record the deeper aspects of the region.When compiling a chronicle,the compilers should capture three threads of a place,i.e.“society,ecology and local features",and epitomize the chronicle in“Overview"to comprehensively and faithfully record the nature,society,history,and current status of a place and present a comprehensive,objective,and solid picture of its history to the readers.
