甘肃省计算中心高性能计算平台运营模式对策研究

Research on the Operation Mode of High Performance Computing Platform in Gansu Province Computing Center

高性能计算又被称作超级计算,目前已成为解决科学研究、经济发展、国家安全等方面诸多重大难题的重要手段。甘肃省计算中心作为早期建成的高性能计算普及和应用的载体,为提高甘肃省基础科研能力和创新能力提供了动力。但是近几年在国家快速发展、体制改革的大潮中,甘肃省计算中心由于自身运营模式存在一定的问题,在自我更新与可持续化发展方面缺乏相应的策略。文章通过分析甘肃省计算中心现状,对平台存在的问题进行了分解研究,并结合我国当前部分优秀超级计算中心的发展经验,对该平台今后的发展提出了一些建议和思考,为我国正在计划建设或者发展较慢的高性能计算平台提供一定的参考。

High-performance computing, also known as supercomputing, has become an important means of solving many major problems in scientific research, economic development, and national security. As the carrier of the high-performance computing popularization and application, Gansu Provincial Computing Center provided the impetus for improving the basic scientific research and innovation abilities of Gansu Province. However, in recent years, in the tide of rapid national development and system reform, Gansu Provincial Computing Center lack scorresponding strategies in self-renewal and sustainable development due to certain problems in its own operating model. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the computing center in Gansu Province, this paper decomposes the problems existing in the platform, and combines the development experience of some excellent supercomputing centers in China, and puts forward some suggestions and reflections on the future development of the platform, or develop a slower high-performance computing platform to provide some reference.
