网络新闻翻译中冗余度的测定及语境分析

Measuring Redundancy and Analyzing the Contextual Information in Foreign Webnews Translations

本文运用信息论中冗余度的理论和计量公式,测算了对外网络新闻翻译中冗余度的变化规律,并结合语境因素,分析了其信息传播的整体机制。从而得出结论:对外网络新闻翻译作为一种信息传播行为,对语篇整体冗余度的调节,是由文化语境到媒体语境层层推进,从而减少噪音,保证有效信息传播的必然手段。

Based on the theory and formula of redundancy in information theory,this paper calculates the regularity of redundancy in the translation of foreign network news,and analyzes the overall mechanism of its information dissemination in combination with contextual factors.It is concluded that as an information transmitting behavior,the adjustment of the overall redundancy of the text is an inevitable means to reduce the noise and ensure the effective communication of the information from the cultural context to the media context.
