This paper Analyzed the necessity of the opening experiment teaching of signal detection and estimation based on MatLab.The design of opening experiment contents is discussed for the course.Teaching instruction and experience of the opening experiment are given.The results of teaching practice show that using the MatLab simulation in the opening experiment teaching of signal detection and estimation can make the students understand and masterthe knowledge of the course deeply,stimulate their learning interests and positivity,enhance their ability of analyzing and solving problems,and training the teaching their innovation ability.
