王树楠的遗民心态与诗古文创作——兼辑民国报刊所收王树楠未刊诗歌

Wang Shunan’s Mentality of the Adherents and the Creation of Ancient Poetry and Prose——The Collection of Wang Shunan’s Poems in Newspapers and Periodicals of the Republic of China

王树楠是晚清民国时期著名的学者、文学家,与古文家张裕钊、吴汝纶、贺涛等人交游甚厚,是“莲池学派”的重要人物。他因晚清弊政、列国交侵,事功不就,遂发愤著述,溢而为诗文吟咏;出入桐城文派义法,自成风格,时人推为北方学者之首。其诗歌除收入《陶庐丛刻》的《文莫室诗集》八卷、《陶庐诗续集》十一卷外,尚有很多未刊诗歌散见各处。今辑录民国报刊中所收王树楠诗歌若干首,以作为深入研究之用。

Wang Shunan was a famous scholar and writer in the late Qing and Republic of China. He had a close relationship with classical prose writers Zhang Yuzhao, Wu Rulun and He Tao, and was an important figure of the “Lianchi School”. He could not realize his political ideal because of the bad politics and the invasion of other countries in the late Qing Dynasty. He could only drive away his depression by writing books and writing poems at the same time. His literary creation originated from Tongcheng School and had its own style, which was regarded as the first scholar in the north at that time. His poems include eight volumes of Wen Moshi’s Poetry Collection and eleven volumes of Tao Lu Poetry Sequel, and many unpublished poems are scattered everywhere. Now we compile some poems of Wang Shunan collected in newspapers and magazines during the Republic of China to promote Wang Shunan’s literary research for the further research.
