Thoughts on Winter Tourism Experience and Heritage Protection of Pingyao Ancient City

平遥古城是享誉国内外的著名世界文化遗产,古城内街道、建筑保存及其完好,为人们展示出明清时期完整的古县城面貌。自20世纪90年代被评为世界文化遗产至今,平遥古城的保护和利用工作不断发展完善,成就丰富,同时也遗留下了一些问题,比如房屋空置、后期管理不善、冬季空气质量影响旅游体验、城内居民生活质量有待提高等。针对上述问题,文章建议将城内空置破败的建筑进行定级,制定不同保护计划,借鉴国内外优秀案例,并结合古城周围环境整体治理古城的空气污染问题,提高城内居民生活质量与游客的旅游体验。

Pingyao ancient city is a famous world cultural heritage both domestic and overseas. The streets and buildings in the ancient city are well preserved, showing the complete appearance of the ancient county in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Since the 1990s, Pingyao ancient city has been listed as a world cultural heritage. Since then, the protection and utilization of Pingyao ancient city has been constantly developed and improved, with rich achievements and some problems left behind, such as vacant buildings, poor later-period management, poor air quality in winter and low living quality in the ancient city. Focusing on the problems, the vacant and dilapidated buildings in the ancient city should be classified, using different protection plan through reference of excellent cases at home and abroad, control the air pollution by adpating to the surrounding environment of the ancient city, improve the living quality of the residents and tourist experience.
