Keys to the Successful Practice of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics Since the Reform and Opening Up as Well as Prospects in the New Era

新中国成立以来特别是改革开放以来的伟大实践使社会主义焕发生机活力,中国特色社会主义取得了举世瞩目的伟大成就。中国特色社会主义的历史进程,可以划分为五个历史阶段,即中国特色社会主义的全新探索、初步开创、转型发展、持续推进和全面深化阶段。中国特色社会主义的成功密码,蕴含在40多年的历史进程中。伟大成就的取得离不开中国共产党的正确领导,离不开与时俱进的思想指导,更离不开对社会主义初级阶段历史方位的正确把握。40多年来,中国共产党适应中国国情开展伟大实践,始终坚持以人民为中心的鲜明立场,坚定"四个自信"的核心使命,不断推动改革开放的持续深入,为中国特色社会主义指明前进方向。中国特色社会主义进入发展新时代,把握中国特色社会主义发展的基本脉络和深层次的内在规律,必将坚定改革开放再出发的决心和信心,推动新时代中国特色社会主义事业不断前进、再创奇迹。

The great practice since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, especially the reform and opening up has brought vitality to socialism so that socialism with Chinese characteristics has made great achievements that have attracted worldwide attention. The historical process of socialism with Chinese characteristics can be divided into five historical stages, namely, the new exploration, initial creation, transformation and development, continuous advancement, and comprehensive deepening of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The keys to the successful practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics are implied in the historical process of more than four decades. Great achievements can neither be separated from the correct leadership of the Communist Party of China nor from the ideological guidance of advancing with the times, and it is even inseparable from the correct cognition of the historical orientation of the primary stage of socialism. For more than 40 years, we Chinese people have adapted to China’s national conditions while conducting great practices. We are always adhering to the clear stance of taking the people as the center, strengthening the core mission of"four self-confidences", and continuously deepening the reform and opening up, to point out the future direction for socialism with Chinese characteristics. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era of development.Therefore, by grasping the basic logic and the deep-seated internal laws of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, we will surely strengthen the determination and confidence to restart the reform and opening up to push the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era further.
