“双一流”建设高校校领导群体特征研究

Study on the Characteristics of the Leadership Group among the “Double First-Class” Universities

对140所"双一流"建设高校的1 317名校领导进行调查研究,发现该群体的基本特征是:男性,54岁左右,长期在高校工作,任现职4.5年,在国内名校获得博士学位,其中正副校长一般为理工学科某一研究领域的专家,正副书记一般毕业于工学、管理学、法学中某一专业。结合调查研究,提出加强"双一流"高校校领导班子建设的建议:运用多种遴选方式,扩大选人视野;适度放宽任职年龄和任期限制;注重学科专业结构;提高国际交流与合作能力;提升争取外部资源能力;注意遴选女性成员。

This study has investigated and researched 1317 leaders from 140 "double first-class" universities in China. It shows that the basic characteristics of this leadership group are: male, about 54 years old, long-term work in universities, incumbent for 4.5 years, obtained doctoral degree from prestigious Chinese university. Besides, the presidents and the vice-presidents are generally experts in research fields of science and engineering, while the party secretaries and the deputy party secretaries generally majored in engineering, management, and law. Combining with the investigation and research, this study puts forward some suggestions on strengthening the construction of "doublefirst-class" leading groups in universities: expanding the horizon of candidates by using various selection methods;moderate relaxation of age and tenure limits;focus on the diversity of discipline and specialty;improve international exchange and cooperation ability;enhancing the ability to strive for external resources;attention should be paid to the selection of female members.
