With the rapid development of China’s economic level, the annual traffic volume is increasing. In such a social context, the construction quality of municipal roads is particularly important. This paper mainly discusses the application of new materials in the construction of municipal roads, simply analyzes the quality problems and safety hidden dangers faced by the current road engineering, and discusses the application situation of the new materials from the advantages of the new materials in road construction.
