Common power supply mode and operation mode of UPS

不间断电源系统(UPS)为离散控制系统(DCS)供电,主要起到两个作用:一是应急使用,防止突然断电而影响正常工作,给DCS系统造成损害;二是消除市电上的电涌、瞬间高电压、瞬间低电压、电线噪声和频率偏移等“电源污染”,改善电源质量,为DCS系统提供高质量的电源。结合部分石化企业实际,浅述了商业级UPS与工业级UPS两类UPS的供电方式及运行方式,旨在提供参考。

UPS plays two main roles in supplying power to the DCS system: one is emergency use to prevent the sudden power loss and affect the normal work, which causes damage to the DCS system;the other is to eliminate the "power pollution" such as surge, instantaneous high voltage, instantaneous low voltage, wire noise and frequency offset, improving the quality of power supply, and providing high-quality power supply for DCS system. Based on the practice of some petrochemical enterprises, a brief account of the power supply mode and operation mode of commercial UPS and industrial UPS is given, in order to provide a reference.
