《建筑结构抗震》课程中英双语教学初探

摘要 针对中英合作办学的特点,本文论述了建筑结构抗震课程在教材建设、教学方式、教学方法、教学实践及考核标准等方面进行的研究探讨。本文提出了以下教学观点:英文教材用全英文PPT打印后装订成册;中文老师讲授中国现行建筑抗震设计规范时,适当穿插介绍中欧抗震设计规范差异点,让学生掌握抗震设计规范中的关键英文词汇;英文老师讲授Seismic Design和Earthquake Engineering课程时,注重学生与教师的互动,吸引与调动学生学习主动性与注意力;中英文老师讲课时注重建筑实际震害和试验演示教学;最后制定出合适的考试评定标准。 In view of the characteristics of Sino-British cooperation in running schools, this paper discusses the research and discussion on the construction of teaching materials, teaching mode, teaching methods, teaching practices and assessment standards of the aseismic courses of building structures. This paper puts forward the following teaching viewpoints: English textbooks are printed in English PPT and bound in booklets;when Chinese teachers teach the current codes for seismic design of buildings in China, the differences of seismic design codes between China and Europe are appropriately introduced and to help students master the key English vocabulary in the seismic design code;when English teachers teach Seismic Design and Earthquake Engineering courses, they should pay attention to the interaction between students and teachers, attract and arouse students' initiative and attention;Stress on building actual damage and experimental demonstration teaching when Chinese and English teacher lecturing. Finally, the appropriate examination and evaluation criteria were worked out.
