The “Two Maintains” Must be well Done for Strengthening the Political Building of the Party

加强党的政治建设,必须坚决做到"两个维护"。"两个维护"是严密党的组织体系的内在要求,是保障党的组织体系有序运行的前提条件。"两个维护"是加强党的政治建设的首要任务,事关党和国家事业能不能胜利发展;事关党的全面领导能不能坚强有力;事关全党思想上和组织上能不能高度统一;事关党的路线方针政策能不能贯彻执行。在坚决维护党中央权威上,中国共产党一而再、再而三地加以重申,是因为这个根本问题思想上始终不能松懈,实践上丝毫不能马虎。新时代加强党的政治建设,必须在"两个维护"上形成高度思想统一和行动一致。中国特色社会主义进入新时代,中国共产党肩负新时代的历史使命,要以党的政治建设为统领,把党的政治建设摆在首位,必须在"两个维护"上形成新担当、创造新气象、展现新作为。

To strengthen the political building of the Party,we must unswervingly do well the "two maintains".The "two maintains" is an intrinsic requirement for strengthening the Party’s organizational system,and a precondition for ensuring the orderly running of the Party’s organizational system.A principal task for strengthening the political building of the Party,the "two maintains" is related to whether the undertaking of the Party and the country can be developed successfully,whether the comprehensive leadership of the Party can be powerful,whether the whole Party can be highly unified in ideology and organization,and whether the line,guideline and policies of the Party can be carried through.The CPC has stressed the maintaining of the authority of the CPC Central Committee over and over again,because we cannot loosen our mind and our action on this basic topic.To strengthen the political building of the Party in the new era,we must highly unify our mind and action in the "two maintains".As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era and the CPC burdens the historical mission of the new era,we must give priority to the political building of the Party,and assume new responsibility,create new atmosphere and exhibit new conduct in respect of the "two maintains".
