Based on the research perspective of history of emotions, this paper takes Deng Yingchao, Liu Qingyang, Li Qishan and other feminists in Tianjin during the May Fourth period to examine how they use the media to launch emotional mobilization to arouse women’s consciousness and public sympathy, and explores the emotional logic of the Chinese women’s liberation movement. In the May Fourth Patriotic Student Movement, the love of the country, the anger against the humiliation of the country, and the pride of the national and social responsibility as a "female citizen" jointly shape the subjective structure of Deng Yingchao and other women’s liberation pioneers. The strong "Grief","Indignation" and "Painfulness" caused by the widespread suffering of women is not only the emotional driving force for their participation in women’s liberation, but also the most common emotional resources they use to mobilize women through emotional ritual and media performance. There is a strong emotional resonance among young male and female readers.
