It described the locating and setting method of measuring fixture for automobile outer panels of four doors and engine cover, and summarized the disadvantages of the existing method. It also expounded the application purpose, structure principle and usage method of the centering mechanism in the measuring fixture. The mechanism could center and locate the parts, and reflect the size of the parts, which provided the basis for the rectification of the die parts.
