In order to study the regional embankment road in-depth in China,taking a project on planning and construction of embankment roads in Jining as an entry point, the planning methods and general experience of regional embankment roads are explained from three perspectives of transportation system planning, road engineering planning and landscape design. The construction method of regional embankment roads, which have composite functions of flood prevention, transportation, landscape and ecology from the angle of compound,economic and strategic.
