Road Promotion Strategy of Liwan Old City in Guangzhou

为缓解城市老城区道路交通拥堵、运行混乱的问题,优化道路交通出行环境,以广州市荔湾老城区为例深入分析现状道路交通问题,在此基础上从优化道路分级与空间利用、构建保护环、优化公交走廊、优化路网微循环、规划沿江景观路、完善慢行系统等方面制定道路提升策略,以期提升老城区出行品质,助推老城市新活力。

In order to alleviate road traffic congestion and chaos in the old city, and improve the road traffic environment, this paper takes Liwan old city in Guangzhou as an example, based on the in-depth analysis of the road traffic problems, developping the road promotion strategies from optimizing road classification and space utilization, constructing protection rings, improving the microcirculation and public transport corridor, planning scenery roads along river, improving bicyclepedestrian system and other aspects, looking forward to improve and revitalize the traffic quality in the old city.
