Analysis and Implication of Children’s Book Recommending Services in New York Public Library

纽约公共图书馆是美国最大的公共图书馆系统,其少儿阅读服务水准代表着美国乃至全球公共图书馆少儿服务的最高水平。文章以作者旅美期间使用纽约公共图书馆的亲身经历为主,辅以研究资料等,对该馆的少儿推荐书目活动进行研究,分析其特点,进而提出对我国公共图书馆少儿推荐书目工作的启示。

The New York Public Library boasts the largest public library system in the United States. The level of children’s reading service in this library is also among the top in the United States and even in the world. Based on the author's personal experience in the New York Public Library during his stay in the US and other materials, this paper studies book recommending activities in the library so as to offer some inspiration for children’s book recommending in Chinese public libraries.
