明代是中国历史上腐败十分严重的一个时期,明代的腐败伴随明朝的始终,从明初到明末,腐败无时不有,无处不在。明代的腐败现象普遍而严重,痼疾难去,禁之不止,有三个诱因不容忽视:环境侵染,风气坏,贪习袭;姑息之政,惩罚松,多宽容;官吏低俸,俸禄薄,开支多。三个诱因导致并加剧明代的腐败,成为推动明朝灭亡的催化剂。

The Ming Dynasty period is a time of serious corruption in Chinese history,for the corruption of the Ming Dynasty has lasted from the very beginning of its founding to the end of its history.It existed everywhere in Ming Dynasty.The phenomenon of corruption in Ming Dynasty was common and serious,and it is hard to remove and forbid.There are three incentives that can't be ignored: bad habits invaded because the social environment was polluted and the climate went bad.The palliative policy caused loose punishments and tolerant attitudes.The salaries of government officials were very low but the expenses were great.These three incentives caused and aggravated the corruption of the Ming Dynasty,and became a catalyst for the destruction of the Ming Dynasty.
