朱德1909年考入云南陆军讲武堂,便开始了学习军事知识和文化知识的生活。讲武堂的学习,对朱德后来从一名军事学员和旧军队的高级将领成长为人民军队的最高军事统帅起了重要作用;德国和苏联的留学,使朱德更加坚信只有马克思主义才能够拯救中国,对他后来从事革命活动特别是军事活动打下了扎实基础。参与组织南昌起义,证明了他具有政治远见和军事谋略。井冈山会师不仅大大增强了井冈山革命根据地的军事力量,而且对红军的创建和发展以及井冈山区域的武装割据都有重大意义。朱德的早期学习和军事实践,对人民军队的建立有着重大影响。

Zhu De was admitted to Yunnan Military Lecture School in 1909,and began to learn military and cultural knowledge.Zhu De"s learning in the military school played an important role in his later growth from a military cadet and a senior general of the old army to the supreme military commander of the people’s army.His learning in Germany and the Soviet union not only strengthened his belief that only Marxism could save China,but also laid a solid foundation for his later revolutionary activities,especially military activities.His participation in organizing the Nanchang uprising proved his political foresight and military strategy.Joining forces in Jinggangshan not only greatly enhanced the military strength of the revolutionary base area in Jinggangshan,but also had great significance for the establishment and development of the red army and the separatist regime by force in Jinggangshan region.In a nutshell,Zhu De’s early learning and military practice had a great influence on the establishment of the people’s army.
