Different Feelings under Special Circumstances ——An Analysis of Literati Wang Fu’s Mentality of Being Banished to a Frontier Post in the Early Ming Dynasty

王绂是明代初期一位颇富才情的文人。洪武年间,他因事坐累谪戍山西朔州十余年,特殊的境遇改变了他的生活状况,也使他的心态发生了很大变化。谪戍期间,王绂的心态主要呈现出:无尽的悲苦与哀愁,漂泊者的客居心态,对亲人的思念与希冀,以及少有的欣慰之情等复杂的特点,具有强烈的悲剧色彩。

Wang Fu was a very talented literati in the early Ming dynasty.During the Hongwu period,he was exiled to Shuozhou,Shanxi province for more than ten years for being implicated in a fault.The special circumstances changed his living conditions and made a great change in his mentality.During this period,Wang Fu’s showed the complex features of his mentality such as endless grief and sorrow, a vagabond’s mentality away from home,missing and hope for relatives,as well as a rare sense of relief.In short,Wang fu’s mentality has a strong tragic feature.
