A Glimpse of French Modern "Classic Writers" ——Take the Comparison of Tournier and Gracq as an Example

米歇尔·图尼埃和朱利安·格拉克,同为法国现代文学史上的著名大师,前者被誉为“新寓言派”代表作家,后者则被认为是“超现实主义”在严肃文学界的代表。他们看似具体截然不同的人生经历和各具特色的文学创作,但是这两位现代“经典作家”在文学批评、写作体裁、精神追求等方面都有着惊人的相通之处。

Tournier and Gracq are both famous masters in the history of French modern literature. The former is known as the representative of the "new allegory" and the latter is considered to be the representative of "surrealism" in the serious literary world. They seem to have different life experiences and different literary creations, but the two modern "classic writers" have strikingly similarities in their literary criticism, their genre writing and their spiritual pursuit.
