He is often called “Japan's Walt Disney”. In his films, castles fly in the sky and princesses protect the earth. He is one of Japan's greatest animated directors-Hayao Miyazaki. Hayao Miyazaki was born in January, 1941, and he joined Toei Animation (东映动画公司) in 1963. The 77-year-old director is the latest winner of Career Achievement Award, which is awarded by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. He received the honor in January, 2019.
