莲心禅韵:中新泾公园中的莲文化

Lotus Heart and Chan Rhyme:Lotus Culture in Zhong Xinjing Park

莲,自古便是文人墨客的吟诵对象,是中国传统文化的典型代表。由于莲花在形态、文化等方面具有多种审美特征及功能,因而其在造景中,表现出丰富多彩的园林艺术美感和深厚的文化内涵,使其成为重要的造园要素之一。在佛教问世后,佛教徒也采取了以莲花为佛教的主要象征。莲、佛教文化、园林三者之间有着密切的联系。本文以此为背景,以中新泾公园建设为例,对莲文化内涵在该公园营造中的运用做了阐述与探讨。

Lotus is a chanting object of many poets in Chinese history. Lotus is a typical representative of Chinese traditional culture. Because lotus has aesthetic characteristics and functions in it's form, it can express rich beauties and cultural connotations in landscaping.Therefore, it becomes one of gardening element. Since the advent of Buddhism,Buddhists take lotus as the main symbol of Buddhism. Lotus, Buddhist culture and landscape garden between the three is closely related to each other. This paper takes this as background and then discusses the application of lotus' s culture connotation in the construction of the Zhong Xin Jing park.
