用幽默诙谐的语言传达底层人物的喜怒哀乐、爱恨纠葛,可以说是刘恒后期小说创作的显著特征。这个特征集中体现在《九月感应》《拳圣》《天知地知》《贫嘴张大民的幸福生活》等作品里。虽然一些幽默、嬉笑、调侃的因素频频出现在这些作品里,但是,对于关注人物在生活中所表现出来的艰难却依然如故。

It is a main feature of Liu Heng’s later works to express the love,hated,sorrow and sadness of the lower-class people in the way of comedy. This feature is embodied in the works“September Induction”,“Boxing Saint”,“God Knows”, and”Zhang Damin’s Happy Life”,etc. Though some optimistic and comical factors began to appear in Liu Heng’s works,the plight of the characters was still the focus of his attention.
