State Grid Technology College explores the road of international talent training and conducted in -depth English training among all staff.The task-based teaching approach,which emphasizes the acquisition of language through language use, is quite popular in the language teaching field and also applicable to the English training practice.This paper starts with the implications of task -based approach to English training,explores the effects and limitations of implementing task -based approach based on the practice of Restaurant English training,and further gives specific recommendations on how to improve the application of task-based teaching approach in English training.
