This paper introduces the working principle of GPS RTK technology,expounds the specific application of GPS RTK technology in real estate surveying and mapping,which can carry out spatial positioning,topographic surveying,cadastral and real estate surveying.It analyses the factors affecting the accuracy of GPS RTK technology,and puts forward some improvement measures,such as periodic sampling inspection,designing the position of reference point at high altitude,ensuring good visual effect of reference station,selecting reference station with convenient traffic,applying RTK technology to update coordinate system and avoiding multi-path effect,so as to provide guarantee for the stability and long-term development of real estate industry in China.
