摘要
以146家2017年度“广东省出口名牌企业”的中文名称和英文译名为研究对象,探讨广东省出口名牌企业名称的英译方法及其存在的问题,并对企业名称中行政区划名称、字号和企业组织形式的英译提出了建议,以期帮助中国出口企业在海外市场提高品牌认知度,树立良好的企业形象,从而获取更多的商业机会。
The translation of the names of 146 Guangdong Famous Export Companies of the year 2017 is probed into.The translation methods and existing problems are analyzed and suggestions on translating the administrative divisions,business names and organization forms in company names are put forward in the hope of helping Chinese export companies boost their brand recognition,establish a good corporate image and thus seek more business opportunities in the overseas market.
