Implementation of Postgraduate Thesis’s External Review by Web System

随着社会和经济的发展,社会对高等教育的需求在不断增加,几年前开始,本校每年毕业的研究生就达到了1 500人,学历层次涵盖博士、学术硕士、教育硕士、工程硕士。研究生学位论文外审是保证论文质量的一个必要环节。详细梳理了研究生学位论文外审的整个流程,清晰的列出了主要的完整数据表,创建了学位论文数据库和外审专家数据库;阐述了网站系统的功能划分和访问界面,尤其是其中的评阅模块;所建立和实现的Web系统,可以通过因特网远程对论文外审评阅进行访问。采用本项目所实现的Web系统,研究生可以在指定的时间段内提交或更新学位论文,邀请的外审评阅人可以在其本人的浏览器Web页面在线查看,或下载离线查看隐藏了姓名的论文全文,按规定格式给出各指标的评分和评语。研究生、导师、管理人员可随时查看评阅结果。

With the development of society and economy,the demand for higher education is increasing. Several years ago,the total number of graduate students graduated each year from the university has been more than 1 500. The level of education covers doctoral,master of academic and master of engineering. The external review of postgraduate thesis is a necessary step to guarantee the quality of the thesis. This paper aims at minutely collating and clarifying the whole approval process of postgraduate thesis external reviews,thoroughly enumerating the complete list of relative data,creating the database for theses and external review experts,describing the functions and interfaces of the Web system,especially the module of the review. After completing the establishment and implementation,the Web system can be remote accessed through the Internet. Through the Web system,each of postgraduate students can submit or update his or her thesis within a specified time period. The invited external reviewer or other related persons can view it online in their own browser Web page. They can also download the full-text of the designated anonymous thesis. The name of author has been obscured in both manners. Thesis’ grading and review remark by the reviewer can be entered and completed on the Web page in some stipulated format. And the student,his or her supervisor,college or university the Web system administrator can check the results in any suitable time.
