跨文化交际中文化移情的比较研究——以电影《蝴蝶君》和《刮痧》为例

A Comparative Study of Cultural Empathy in Intercultural Communication——Taking M.Butterfly and The Gua Sha Treatment as Examples

随着全球一体化的持续纵深发展,各国间的交往日益频繁,由此所产生的异质文化间的矛盾冲突也不断增多,而良好的跨文化交际能力在化解这些矛盾和冲突中扮演着重要的角色。文化移情(culturalempathy)是跨文化交际能力的重要组成部分,是决定跨文化交际能否顺利完成的关键因素。文化移情要遵守适度原则,即移情既不能“缺失”,也不能“过度”。本文通过对比电影《蝴蝶君》和《刮痧》中不同的文化移情现象,发现只有克服文化定势和偏见,坚持适度的文化移情,才能有效完成跨文化交际。

With the continuous development of globalization, exchanges between countries have become increasingly frequent, and more conflicts between heterogeneous cultures have emerged as a result. Good intercultural communication ability plays an important role in resolving these conflicts. Cultural empathy is an important part of intercultural communication ability, and it plays a key role in the successful intercultural communication. Cultural empathy should follow the moderate principle, neither under-empathizing nor over-empathizing cultural empathy. By comparing the different cultural empathy in M. Butterfly and The Gua Sha Treatment , it is found that only by eliminating stereotypes and prejudice and sticking to the moderate principle can we effectively complete intercultural communication.
