父母社会经济地位及子女数量对儿童户口转换的影响研究

The Effect of Parental Socioeconomic Status and Number of Offspring on Children’s Hukou Conversion

本研究旨在探讨父母社会经济地位和儿童兄弟姐妹数量对儿童户口转换的影响.利用中国教育追踪调查CEPS2013-2014年数据(N=10120),采用队列研究方法,应用COX回归模型、离散时间风险模型和随机生存森林分析方法,研究父母社会经济地位和子女数量对儿童户口转换的影响.研究发现,父母教育程度为高中及以上者,子女户口转换的可能性是父母小学及以下者的1.95倍(95%CI 1.46-2.61);女孩有兄弟者户口转换的可能性低于没有兄弟者(HR=0.68,95%CI 0.49-0.96).结论:父母的社会经济地位、子女数量及女孩是否有兄弟是儿童户口转换的可能影响因素,儿童的户口转换过程存在着阶层不平等以及资源稀释现象,在家庭内部资源稀释存在着性别差异.

To investigate the association between parental socioeconomic status ( SES), number of offspring and children's hukou ( household registration ) conversion. Data from China Education Panal Survey( CEPS) between 2013 and 2014. A total of 10120 children and their families included in analysis. Also, cohort study design was performed. Cox regression model, discrete-time risk model and random survival forest were used to examine the association between parental socioeconomic status( SES), number of offspring and children's hukou conversion. The findings showed that the probability of children' hukou conversion among parental education with a high school or above was 1.95-folds(95% CI : 1.46 -2. 61) when compared with that parents with primary school and below;the probability of children' s hukou conversion among female children with brothers was less than that of those without brothers( HR = 0. 68 ,95% CI 0. 49-0. 96). Conclusion: Parental SES, number of offspring and female children with brothers may be the potential influencing factors of children' s hukou conversion. There class inequality and resource dilution in the process of children' s hukou conversion, gender differences occur in the resource dilution within the family.
