On Monetary Policies of Central China Base Areas

In the War of Resistance against Japan, central China anti-Japanese base areas faced brutal military suppression and economic plunder under Japanese puppet regime, which caused depressed economy and difficult life. Therefore, they established practical monetary policies to fight with Japanese puppet regime on the financial front. Monetary policies of the base areas included establishing banks, issuing anti-Japanese currency and facilitating it to be the only currency of Anti-Japanese base areas, which laid the foundations of the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan.
