The fairness of ecological rights is the inherent requirement of Xi Jin-ping’s ecological civilization thought and socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and is an important value pursuit of China’s ecological civilization construction. From the perspective of ecological justice values, we examine the many challenges faced by China’s current ecological rights fairness, promote the value of Xi Jin-ping’s ecological thought, focus on the top-level system design, and promote economic transformation and upgrading, which will undoubtedly become an important path to guarantee the fairness of ecological rights in contemporary China.
