A Study on the Reasons and Prevention Measures of Cargo Damage by Railway Container Transportation

铁路集装箱运输由于货物包装、装载不当等原因仍然存在一定比例的货物损失。在铁路集装箱运输过程中,针对货物包装不当、集装箱选用不当、货物装载加固不当、集装箱装载加固不当、冷藏货物装运不当等货损原因,从加强集装箱箱体检查、加强集装箱装车检查、加强对冷藏货物运输盯控、加强运输各方责任、加强先进检测监控设备、加强对作业人员的培训、加强箱内货物装载规定制订等方面提出安全保障对策,不断提高集装箱运输市场竞争力。

A certain proportion of containered cargo transported by railway can be damaged due to improper packaging and loading operation. This paper has probed into other reasons: improper containers used, unsuitable container loading and reinforcing practices and inappropriate loading operation of refrigerated goods. To increase the competitiveness of container transportation, this paper has accordingly put forward the preventing measures: intensifying inspection on containers and loading operation,implementing monitoring and controlling of refrigerated cargo, clarifying the responsibilities of the concerned parties, introducing cutting-edge inspection and monitoring devices, providing employee training programs and formulating regulations on container cargo loading operation.
