五四运动无论在中国革命运动史上还是思想文化发展史上都占有举足轻重的地位,世纪变换,由五四运动孕育的“爱国、进步、民主、科学”精神都是我们不变的宝贵精神财富。对比时代变迁中的“五四”精神内核,探讨新时代背景下如何传承“五四”精神,有利于激励当代中国青年与时俱进,认清百年以来的形势发展与“五四”精神的实质内核,争做新时代下“五四”精神的传承者,继承“五四”青年的遗志,以更加饱满的姿态和热情投身到实现中华民族伟大复兴的实践中去。

The May 4th Movement occupies a pivotal position in the history of Chinese revolutionary movement as well as the ideological and cultural development.No matter how time changes,the spirit of“patriotism,progress,democracy and science”bred by the May 4th Movement is our invariable precious spiritual wealth.Based on the present situation,this paper discusses how to inherit the spirit of the May 4th Movement in the new era by comparing the spiritual core of the May 4th Movement in the changing times.The purpose of this paper is to encourage the contemporary Chinese youth to keep pace with the times,to recognize the development of the situation in the past hundred years and the essence of the spirit of the May 4th Movement,to strive to be the inheritor of the spirit of the May 4th Movement in the new era,to inherit the will of the youth of the May 4th Movement,and to devote more fully and enthusiastically to the practice of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
