On the Status and Mission of “Theoretical Psychology”

在科学化的大背景下,心理学科在心理统计、测量、实验等方法的教学方面有着非常雄厚的师资和研究团队,由于各种原因,从事《理论心理学》《心理学史》等纯粹理论教学和研究的人员相对较少,理论教学方面的建设略显不足。这样导致的结果是,学生在方法和技能方面成长很快,但在基础理论方面较为薄弱,这无论对于学生的专业能力的培养还是综合素养的提升都是非常不利的。因此,在科学化的背景下,加强《理论心理学》《心理学史》等理论学科的教学和研究工作,对于心理学科教学的均衡健康发展具有重要的意义。

In the whole background of scientization,for the psychology,there are lots of teachers and research teams engaged in psychological statistics,psychometrics,experiment,for a variety of reasons;relatively few teachers and researchers do pure theoretical teaching or research,such as“Theoretical Psychology”and“History of Psychology”,so there was a slight deficiency in theory teaching construction.The result is that students learn many methods and techniques of psychology,but they are weak in basic theories of psychology,which is very unfavorable to the cultivation of students’professional ability and comprehensive quality.Therefore,strengthening the teaching and research work of theoretical disciplines has a great significance to the balanced development of psychological teaching.
