阿尔茨海默病是一种神经退行性认知功能障碍,表现为记忆力、判断力、抽象思维能力的丧失,并逐步导致身体机能丧失,最终引发死亡。阿尔茨海默病的病因及发病机制目前尚不明确,普遍认为存在多种假说,诸如胆碱能神经元假说、β淀粉样蛋白假说、Tau蛋白缠结假说等。概述了抗老年痴呆药的发展现状,阿尔茨海默病可能的病理机制,详细介绍了有关天然产物在预防及治疗阿尔兹海默症的进展。

Alzheimer’s Disease is a neurodegenerative cognitive disorder characterized by the loss of memory, judgment, abstract thinking, and gradually leads to loss of body function and ultimately death. The etiology and pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s Disease are still unclear. It is generally believed that there are many hypotheses, such as cholinergic neuron hypothesis,β-amyloid protein hypothesis, Tau protein entanglement hypothesis and so on. The present situation of anti-dementia drugs, the possible pathological mechanism of Alzheimer’s Disease and the progress of natural products in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease were reviewed in this paper.
