浙东儿歌童谣是流传于浙东沿海地区,具有鲜明的海洋民俗文化色彩和吴越方言特色,反映儿童生活,富有童真趣味的本土原生性民间歌谣。自古以来,在浙东民间,关于海洋环境、气象、节令、渔汛、海产、航行、捕捞、贸易、娱乐、游戏、神话、传说、信仰、习俗,具有启蒙教育意义的歌谣,源源不断地涌现出来,从精神层面滋养着浙东沿海渔民的后代。海洋文化基质是浙东儿歌童谣生成的根源性因素。

Children's folk songs and nursery rhymes in eastern Zhejiang are native folk songs which are spread in the coastal areas of Eastern Zhejiang.They have distinctive marine folk culture and Wuyue dialect characteristics,reflecting children's life and full of childlike interest.Since ancient times,folk songs with enlightening and educational significance are about marine environment,meteorology,season,fishing season,marine products,navigation,fishing,trade,entertainment,games,myths,legends,beliefs and customs emerged in eastern Zhejiang,nourishing the offspring of fishermen along the coast of Eastern Zhejiang from the spiritual level.Marine cultural matrix is the root cause of the nursery rhymes and folk songs in eastern Zhejiang.
