The Pursuit of Popularization of Yong Opera in Modern Times

邕剧是皮黄腔传播到桂西南而形成的一个汉族戏曲剧种。现存的402个邕剧传统剧目,因受大众价值取向和审美趣味的影响,在题材选择上,既热衷于动荡年代英雄人物惊心动魄的历史故事,又不乏西游戏、封神戏、聊斋戏、酬神戏、传奇戏、诙谐戏等包罗万象的剧目;在主题表达上,具有强烈的是非道德观和自强不息的进取精神,表现出了迥异于文人戏曲的平等意识、功名意识、互助理念和进取精神。

Yong Opera is a Han opera formed by Pihuang tune spread in southwest of Guangxi province.The existing 402 traditional plays of Yong Opera are influenced by people's value orientation and aesthetic taste.As a result,when it comes to subject choosing,it not only prefers heroic figures’thrilling history stories happened during the age of turbulence,but contains all-embracing plays like Journey to the West drama,Creation of the Gods drama,Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio drama,Thanking Gods drama,Legend drama,Humorous drama and so on.In terms of topic expression,it not only enjoys strong moral outlook and the enterprising spirit of unremitting self-improvement,but displays sense of equality,sense of fame,mutual assistance concept and the spirit of enterprise which are sharply different from literati drama.
